No, the app is intuitive and can be learned very quickly by your staff. There is a slideshow introduction when the app first launches to explain the basics, and we also have videos available.
Do I need to order hardware first?
No. You can get started with your account today and add hardware at anytime should you need it.
Do I need a special scanner to scan badges?
No. The software is designed to use any webcam or built-in device camera to scan QR codes and common barcodes.
Is the app limited to Microsoft, Android, or Apple?
No limits. The app uses the browser and so is not restricted to any particular platform or screen size. Certain hardware devices are limited to Windows.
Are there integrations available to send/receive data with other systems?
Yes. We have a variety of tools available for integrations and automations. Please contact our support for technical discussions and custom pricing pertaining to your particular needs.
Do hardware devices need to be purchased through PeopleTrack?
No. We sell all the relevant hardware but they can also be purchased elsewhere. It is best to confirm with our team that certain badge printers or license scanners will work before purchasing and we can supply the recommended models.
